Set sail with Argo Excursions aboard a CT 54 Robert Perry-designed blue water sailboat for an unforgettable journey of adventure and discovery.
We’re looking for dedicated crew members to commit to a minimum stay of 3 weeks as we sail South towards Panama.
Along the way we will be stopping at several anchorage’s exploring beaches, cities towns and villages.

Expectations:
1. Teamwork and Participation:
Argo is a fully collaborative environment. Everyone is expected to participate in all aspects of sailing, maintenance, and daily tasks. This is an all-hands-on-deck experience where teamwork is key.
2. Open-Mindedness and Respect:
You must be open-minded and respectful towards the boat, your fellow crew members, and the environment. We foster a community based on mutual respect and a shared love for the ocean and exploration.
3. Shifts & Duties:
While underway, all crew members will rotate shifts for keeping watch on Argo, including navigating, monitoring the boat, and ensuring safe passage. When anchored, expect to share responsibilities such as cleaning, cooking, and general maintenance.
4. Cleanliness:
You are responsible for keeping your personal space neat and tidy, as well as contributing to the overall cleanliness of the boat.
5. Skill Sharing:
Each crew member should contribute some form of skill, craft, or knowledge to the group. Whether it’s sailing expertise, cooking, music, or storytelling, we encourage everyone to teach and learn from each other.
6. Itinerary and Daily Activities:
Crew members will be involved in deciding the itinerary and daily activities. Your input is valued, and we aim to create an adventure that everyone can enjoy.
Drug & Alcohol Policy:
7. Responsible Consumption:
While drug and alcohol consumption is allowed, it is expected to be done responsibly and at the right time. This journey is about community, exploring, and adventure – not getting drunk or high regularly. Respect the balance between fun and safety.
Financial Contribution:
8. Cost Breakdown:
This is not a for-profit experience. Crew members are asked to contribute $25 per day, which goes directly to the upkeep of Argo, port fees, maintenance, and keeping our gear in good shape. Food and provisioning costs will be divided among the crew. Alcohol expenses will be the responsibility of the individual.
9. Marina Fees:
While we will be anchored out most of the time, if a marina stay is necessary for a crew member, the associated costs will be discussed.
Additional Support:
10. Covered by the Captain:
I, as your captain, will cover the costs of Argo’s maintenance, including laundry for sheets, linens, towels.
